My Pet Monster

This is actually a few months old and I had every intention of making a series of these little pet monster soundbites. Of course like so many half baked ideas it fell by the wayside. But for what it's worth here tis for you to snoop at. Snoop away!

  4. I like the colour palette! That dude needs a massage/ vacation/ girlfriend. He seems too uptight...but the monster is fun! ;)

  5. I wish I'd done that! ;) Great framework for drawing up many interesting monsters yet run a set of mini stories along side them all too.... genius! I look forward to seeing them as they stand up to be counted... 'monster owners support group' as it were. As for this one you've got the modernist oner captured wonderfully. Will he switch his monster when it goes out of fashion...? Does he preen and pamper it and go along to monster shows to try and earn rosettes...?! And your artwork being superb... goes without saying !

  7. you are the master of capturing the perfect expression, chris! The characters are amazing, as well. I love the fact that the monster actually does look like the kind of monster you might actually keep as a pet!

  8. Such appeal! Outstanding character design... it definitely looks like something that would shed on the furniture.
