Now that I've finally settled back into some kind of routine, I can take a moment to reflect on the weekend of CTN and post some photos courtesy of table buddy Mike Amos. Eager beavers that we were, we set up on the Thursday night when no one else was around. How sneaky!
When the first day began with Jerry Beck handing me his card and offering to review my book (released next April folks!), I knew this was going to be a weekend to savor.
Caught in the act!
Our friend and helper extraordinaire Laura Craig
The table looking splendid complete with preview copy of Alpha Monsters. Although the tub of free Red Vines proved slightly more popular than our actual work!
An admin oversight meant my name was left off the main banner. I soon put that right
There were many other amazing tables around, we didn't get to photograph them all, but here's a small selection of my favorites.
The friendly folks from Muertoons and their great book Rosita Y Conchita
Bill Robinson a blogger I've followed for a while now and genuinely nice bloke
The awesome Disney Peck N Paw project and (below) the super nice Brittney Lee
Special mentions too for Drake Brodahl, John Nevarez and the boys at Ghostbot for being, quite possibly, the nicest guys on planet earth.
All in all it was a great experience. Would I do it again? Heck yeah! But let's just see how 2011 pans out first though shall we?
aww, it looks so much fun and tasty eye candy.
ReplyDeletehey! thought you might want this, I took a close-up for posterity. Or is that posteriority?

Hey Chris!
ReplyDeleteGee - that looks like fun... wait, it was!
Thanks for being my booth buddy, look forward to next year!
Michael
Hey chris, great blog! It was good meeting you at CTN. Your business cards were definitely some of my favorites i collected. I hope to see you there again next year!
ReplyDeleteChris, I think there might be a typo on this post. Somehow I was lumped into the "one of the nicest guys" category. I think I would be under the "most evil" instead. Please look into this.
ReplyDeleteI greatly enjoyed meeting you and hope to bump into you again next time you cross the pond (or in the very rare case that I might). Hope you've recovered from the trip!
