ReplyDeleteAnnoying... oh yes... but I guess it isn't a reason not to do it. I saw a quote somewhere by someone...sometime... I forget... ... what was I saying...?... oh yes... (to paraphrase) just because someone else has done it before don't feel you are copying, just do what you want in YOUR way to do justice to the concept and pay tribute to your influences. Still pi**es you off when someone is there first though! Love the 'over the hill' card by the by... was my birthday earlier this month so I can relate ;)

ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of when we were climbing 14ers in Colorado and we had a really peaceful beautiful climb then right as we hit the summit there was a big noisy organized party of teenagers! Heee heee.

I guess I take it with a grain of salt and realize the subtle difference make it mine and the confidence to know I didn't intentionally steal the image.
